The room was serviceable as a place to make camp for a small city break. It is incredibly affordable for what you get. It's also located in a great place being so close to Princess Street and Oxford Road.

Good hotel in a convenient location and well priced. The bed was comfy, the shower was powerful, the towels were fluffy and the breakfast was excellent.

The room was most adequately furnished. Liked the nice office chair in front of a nice working table. Iron and ironing board came in handy. Generous supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. There was plenty of the latter. The domestic staff happily replenished these at request. The shower was fantastic for its copious hot water and power. It was like showering in a car wash! Fantastic! The heating in the room is electric, and I asked for help with how to adjust heating. Help arrived within 2 minutes at 11pm! On site restaurant and bar is fit for purpose, and prices are not extortionate. If you are attending a conference at conference centre as I was, the convenience is unbeatable.

I liked my room ,it was cosy and well decorated with style.The shower was exactly how I like it and there was plenty of hot water.The sheets ,pillows and duvets were clean with no stains.The room service was quick and my food was delicious. Last but not least the staff members were outstanding,they helped me with all of my queries and were very polite.I highly recommend Pendulum Hotel to anybody for either a solo or a family vist.It's close to major destinations in the heart of Manchester.

Nice, clean and smart. Near everything we needed to be. Staff were nice, too.Good if you're staying over for a gig anywhere near Manchester Academy. :)

The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was not far from the train station or Manchester academy. If you need an Uber, you can literally pick one up from here in minutes. There's 24/7 pit stop for snacks and coffee. There's also emergency golf umbrellas in the lobby for rainy days. It was well heated, especially for such a cold day. It was basic, but clean and had everything we needed, even an iron.

Room service was prompt, provided exactly what I asked for, very easy and quick. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Bed was very comfy, room provided a small fan which was excellent for me as i like to sleep with a fan on - lots of other amenities that i didn't personally use but was appreciative of (ironing board + iron, hairdryer, television, shower products etc). There was also a kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits which were very nice. Breakfast had lots of options, hot items were all kept hot and tasted great, coffee was very nice, really enjoyed my stay

The location is excellent, the rooms are always clean in my experience, everything you need for a place to chill out and get a good night's sleep. The bed is very comfortable and shower works well. I like that you can open the window slightly for fresh air. Noise was very minimal. I've stayed here before and will again.

This was my first visit to this hotel so thought I would give it a try, also I was on a budget!! The room was a bit dated, but I happen to like the more 'retro' look in this hotel. The room was clean, very good storage/wardrobe area, good Wi-Fi and good desk to work at. The shower room was small but met my needs. The location fantastic, very close to Piccadilly train station. The public areas are fantastic in this hotel, plenty of relaxing seating areas and a large dining room. The staff were very, very helpful

the staff were very friendly, even under the stress of the convention chaos! The food was reliably lovely, and having so much social space around the hotel made the place feel all the more friendly, the bed and bedding were comfy and clean, mostly everything was lovely and clean and I could definitely see myself staying here again, this was one of my most pleasant manchester trips, and much of that was thanks to having such a lovely place to come back to in the evenings
